About Chad Smith

I’m not an agency. I’m one person in Siloam Springs who knows how local search works.

Home service trades almost everywhere run on referrals. The problem with referrals is that they’re invisible to Google — and there are only so many of them. I saw this pattern repeatedly in the contractor world: great work, terrible visibility. I moved to NWA to fix it here.

The work wasn’t the problem. Visibility was.

How I got here

I came to SEO through the contractor world, not the other way around.

Before Local Search Ally, I spent time in real estate wholesaling. That put me in regular contact with contractors — HVAC techs, plumbers, roofers, tile guys. And I kept noticing the same thing: the most skilled people I worked with were the hardest to find online. Websites from 2014, Google Business Profiles with no photos, zero reviews.

When someone searched for an HVAC tech or a plumber in their area, those guys didn’t show up. Not because the work wasn’t there — because the online presence wasn’t.

I started digging into why. Turns out local search has a specific logic — citations, proximity signals, GBP completeness, on-page relevance, review velocity — and most contractors had none of it in place. Not because they were doing anything wrong. Just because no one had ever set it up for them.

That’s the gap I fill.

What working with me looks like

No black box. You always know what’s happening.

I work one-on-one with contractors in Northwest Arkansas.

One-on-oneYou talk to me, not an account manager. I know your business, your service area, your competitors.
Plain reportingEvery month I tell you exactly what I did and why. Actual rankings, actual Map Pack position, actual call volume — not a PDF full of 'impressions.'
Month to monthNo 6-month contracts. No lock-in to hide a slow start. If I stop delivering, you stop paying.
NWA onlyRogers, Bentonville, Springdale, Fayetteville, and the surrounding areas. I know which job-search keywords bring calls here.

Why not a bigger agency?

Fair question

Most agencies treat contractors as an afterthought.

The established SEO agencies in NWA are built around enterprise clients — regional health systems, retail chains, multi-location brands. When a plumbing company with three trucks signs on, they get the junior account manager and a campaign built from the same template as everyone else.

What I bring is focus. Home service trades are the only clients I take. NWA is the only market I work in. Being small isn’t a limitation. It’s the point.

No manufactured credibility

I’m building this. I’m not going to pretend otherwise.

Local Search Ally is a startup. I don’t have 200 client case studies. I have demo sites built to prove the method, tracked rankings from my own projects, and a clear picture of how local search works in this market.

I can show you the methodology, walk you through the logic, and give you an honest read on where your business stands online right now. What I won’t do is claim a track record I don’t have.

What you can hold me to

Four things I commit to. In plain language.

  • I will never claim results I haven't achieved.
  • I will tell you if something is outside my skill set.
  • I will never lock you into a contract.
  • I will communicate clearly and often.

If this sounds like how you want to work — let’s talk.

Thirty minutes. Free. No pitch, no agenda beyond understanding where your business stands and whether there’s a good fit.
